TVS Racing At National Supercross Championship In Jaipur [Videos and Photos]

In the amazing round #4 of the MRF MoGrip FMSCI National Supercross Championship 2016 held at Jaipur, Mr. Yash Pawar emerged as the winner of the Class 1 – SX1 category. The racing event held in Mansarover, Jaipur after a gap of four years witnessed a huge crowd of over 5000 lively spectators cheering for their favorite motorists. The event saw an excellent performance by TVS Racing Team in the ‘Indian Experts – Group B Stroke 2/4 up to 260cc’ category. The local boy of Jas David, who returned to the championship after three years, displayed some phenomenal racing expertise, which had set the track ablaze and took the Jaipur audience to their feet in enthrallment. In the country, this is one of the most epic motorcycle off-road National Racing Championship.

This year’s MRF MoGrip FMSCI National Supercross Championship is the 17th edition of this long-running contest. The technically challenging track measured 750 meters in length containing 12 double jumps, a cut tabletop, 1 tabletop, whoops and berms. In the SX2 Class, which is reserved for ‘privateers’, saw tough fight among Vishal, Sohail, Adnaan and Rugved resulting in a nail biting finish that kept the crowd guessing. In the end, Vishal Barguje from Pune was declared the winner, while Rugved who seemed very positive succumbed to injuries.

In the junior category, JR SX, the participants were aged under 15 years, while some were as little as 7 years old. These kids were greeted with a standing ovation from the crowd for their budding spirit, which they showcased while taking the victory lap around the track. In this race child named Yuvraj Konde Deshmukh took 2 flawless motos-winning overall in the class.

This event in Jaipur was organized by Shyam Kothari’s Godspeed Racing in association with Action Sports, Jaipur that is headed by ex SX Champion Kunal Singh. The fourth round of the championship that lasted for two days (1st and 2nd October 2016) in Jaipur saw Honorable Cabinet Minister for UDH and Civil Bodies, Mr. Rajpal Singh Shekhawat as Chief Guest of the event. He also presented the trophies to the winners. The occasion was also graced by Mr. RS Barmi, RSM for MRF and Mr. Manu Kumar Jha, DM MRF. The event was sponsored by MRF MOGRIP tyres in association with the TVS Motor Company, Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) – Servo and Sidvin Core-tech.
