This temple is located on an elevated ground at the base of Moti Dungari hill in Jaipur Rajasthan. It is also known by the name of Lakshminarayan Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi. This temple is a proud architectural wonder of Rajasthan. The Birla Mandir Jaipur is built by the famous B.M. Birla Foundation, which is among one of the world famous business tycoons. History Behind Birla Mandir Jaipur :

According to history, the Jaipur Birla temple was built on the land given to the Birla family by the Maharaja Jai Singh Ji , for just a token sum of one rupee. The INDIAN famous business family, B.M Birla Foundation, built this temple in the year 1988. Apart from this temple,there are 14 Birla temples across India.

The Birla Temple Jaipur is bordered by lavish green gardens. The Birla Temple has three domes to represent the three religions of India . In this temple, ‘Janmashtami’, the birth anniversary of Lord Krishna, is celebrated with great enthusiasm.
