CBSE To Conduct The Remaining Board Exams In Initial Weeks Of July

As the outbreak of coronavirus and the intensity of its horrendous effects emerged during the days of March, the ongoing board examinations were put to halt until further official notice. We all know board examinations are one of the crucial examinations in the country. They are given much precedence and reverence as that’s the first paddle to our pursuance of a better career. 

However, this year many examinations couldn’t be held due to the nationwide lockdown to contain the spread of Coronavirus. 

But now the dates have been circled for the remaining exams

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has now decided to conduct the remaining exams for in the initials weeks of July. Even the Human Resource Development (HRD) authorities have announced that the main aim is to end the exams before the JEE (Mains) can be conducted. NIT exams will be conducted over 5 days from July 18th-23rd. Therefore, the board exams should ideally finish up before this begins. 

Initially, CBSE notified that out of the 90 remaining subjects, examinations will be conducting for only the 29. While for the students in the 10th, the exams will be conducted only for the students in North-East Delhi.

CBSE will conduct board examinations for the following subjects:

  • Business Studies 
  • Geography 
  • Hindi (Elective)
  • Hindi (Core)
  • Information Practice (New)
  • Computer Science (New)
  • Home Science
  • Information Technology 
  • Bio-Technology
  • Sociology
  • Computer Science (Old)

The results will be declared in the month of August before IIT announces their merit list.

So all those who are left with some of the papers, keep on revising as the month of July is not too far. Meanwhile, we sincerely urge each and every one of you to stay indoors. Don’t add to the already piled up burden of the concerned authorities.
