COVID-19 Cases Hike: Rajasthan To Seal The Borders!

Yesterday Rajasthan reported 123 new cases of COVID-19 leading to a total of 11,300 cases. 

As the cases of Coronavirus are doubling the government of Rajasthan has sealed the state border for a week. Only people who have e-passes can enter or leave the state as per the orders. Rajasthan shares borders with Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, and Punjab.

The movement to and from the state will be guarded and no person can access the entry in the state without a no-objection certificate. 

The state shares borders with Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Haryana.

In order to give a kick to the economy amidst the pandemic, many states have issued relaxation and lifted the lockdown with a label of ‘Unlock 1’. 

Rajasthan Police said that they will set up check posts along the state borders. These check posts will be put up at railway stations and airports. 

How to avail the passes?

As per the orders, the availability of the passes will be bare and one can only attain them in cases of emergencies like death, hospital visits. The passes will be issued by the district collectors and police superintendents. 

If you face any of the mentioned emergencies then you can check the Rajcop citizen app and apply for the e-pass. Otherwise contact the nearest police station. 

Cases Are Soaring

It’s true and it’s happening, the country’s cases have soared up to 2,76,583 with 9,985 new patients as recorded in the last 24 hours. A total of 1,35,206 have recovered so far. Nearly 1.33 lakh are still taking the treatment.

The country, which has tested about five million people as of now, is ranking 5th in the world after the United States, Brazil, Russia, and UK. 

In order to contain further spread of Coronavirus, the state has decided to seal the borders. Understand the intensity of the situation and pray for better days while you stay inside.
