Jaipur Airport is planning additional arrival and departure gates at Terminal 2 of the airport to decongest passenger’s area and bring in new amenities for smooth travel. The boarding gates for different flights have been increased from 5 to 7. The building housing the new facility will be open for public on December 15, 2019.
The availability of affordable flights is increasing the number of passengers travelling by air. To cater to the increasing number of passengers, the airport authorities in the pink city are attempting to introduce newer facilities for hassle-free travelling.
The additional boarding gates will provide extra space for passengers travelling to international and domestic destinations from Jaipur.
With this, the number of conveyor belts has also been increased from two to five allowing passengers to get their luggage on time.
The new facility will be open for public from 15th December 2019.
