The Jaipur Metro Rail project is planned along two corridors – East-West Corridor (Green Line) and North-South Corridor (Orange Line). The Green Line is from Mansarovar to Badi Chaupar with a total distance of 12.067 KM and Orange Line is from Sitapura Industrial Area to Ambabari with a total length of 23 KM.
The north – south corridor (orange line ) is the corridor 1 which covers eleven stations from mansarover to badi chaupad all the nine stations in between are covered and visited through this corridor. If you wish to go to any of the stops such as new aatish market, Vivek vihar, shyam nagar, ram nagar , civil lines, railway station, Sindhi camp, chandpole and choti chaupad.The corridor 1 covers all these 11 stations.
About the corridor 2 , it is called the east west corridor covers Twenty stations in total from Sitapura to Ambabari . In between you would come across Pratap nagar, Haldi Ghati Gate, Sanganer, Laxmi Nagar , durgapura, Mahaveer Nagar, Gopalpura, Dev Nagar, Tonk Phatak, Gandhi Nagar Mode, Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Narayan Singh Circle, SMS Circle, Ajmeri Gate, Government Hostel, Sindhi Camp.
The fare of the metro is :
- Upto two stations : 10 /-
- Three to five stations : 15 /-
- Six to eight stations : 20 /-

One can avail access to the smart card which is highly beneficial for frequent travellers in the city.
Cost of smart card : It is just of Rs. 100 only. First 50 INR is for the store value and another 50 INR is taken as security money. Along with this card, buyer will get free booklet and smart card pouch.
