Jaipur Monuments & Museums to Open From June 1

One cannot stay confined and let the fear of the virus lead us. Although we still have lockdown, the coming phase has certain guidelines and least restrictions. Many places are open and functioning with norms of social distancing and using disinfectants every now and then. Even Jaipur monuments and museums will now be opened for tourists.

As per the new measures, from June 1 the monument in Jaipur will be open. Post keeping in view the situation of the pandemic. It was clearly issued by the archaeology and museums department on Friday.

The guidelines issued clearly mention that the first week of June shall witness the opening of Jaipur monuments and museums. Specifically open on four days of the week i.e on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday.

The visitors will be allowed from 9am till 2pm in the second week, while the opening days will remain the same. Those visiting will also be permitted in the noon time between 3pm to 5pm.

But from the third week, the monuments will be open on all days of the week. From 9am to 1pm and 3pm to 5pm.

In the first two weeks, the fees will be exempted from the visitors. As per the officials, it is to encourage people to resume going to these places. And from the third week onwards 50 percent discount will be given. Applicable for both Indian and Foreign traversers.

Those visiting without the masks will not be allowed and only a batch of 5 people will be permitted at a time. Then after having a gap for 5 minutes another group will be permitted inside. All this will be done with keeping the norms of social distancing. Not just this, the arrangements have been made for sanitization too. Even the working staff will be doubly checked.

While many places are resuming slowly and steadily, let’s not forget that coronavirus is still here.

So while we move back and forth, there’s no harm in taking double precautions. And the safest precaution is to stay home as much as you can. While Jaipur monuments and museums are about to open, please adhere to the norms of social distancing.

Meanwhile, let’s not forget to pay gratitude for all the noble souls. Spread positivity and pray for better days.
