Jaipur to host theatre workshop for children.

It’s the time of vacations and so Jaipur is planning something productive for the students. Every year something or the other like summer camps with lots of activities takes places but this time its different. A theater workshop is something every student can enjoy, who doesn’t love theatre or acting. So buddies, fill your summer vacations with fun and enjoyment with this workshop.

Aiming to emphasise on the significance of theatre amongst the young enthusiastic creative minds, there will be a theatre workshop happening in the city. The 15 day workshop Project Theatre commencing from May 6th is for children of different age groups, conceptualised by theatre group Jairangam.

The intent of the Workshop is to bring theatre enthusiasts on a common platform and share knowledge about theatre. The will be the first ever production oriented workshop to specialise in mime, puppetry and physical theatre, all under one roof. Pranab Mukherjee, Partha Pratik Patil, and Ruchi Bhargava are the renowned artists, who would take the workshop, and share the knowledge about the varied forms of the art. Artist and poet Amit Kalla would be enriching the students by sharing knowledge about visual Art. Addressing the press conference, Deepak Gera, one of the organisers shared, “Our aim is to nourish the talented children and showcasing their creations to a wide range of audiences.”

Parents can have a look as well for their children to learn new things and skills. There’s nothing bad in getting to learn something new every vacation. It’ll help them somewhere in future. Interested students can participate. 😉
