Jaipur Will Soon Have A Bigger ‘City Park’ Than Central Park!

City Park Jaipur

Nature lovers in Jaipur will soon have another place to enjoy the lush greenery and open space within the Pink City itself. In a new and eco-friendly initiative taken up by the concerned authorities, it was decided that the city of Jaipur will soon have another land that’s 10 acres bigger than the Central Park. It will be the biggest nature hub in the city.

The park will come up on the 52.42 acre land and will be in the middle of VT Road and Aravali Marg. It shall be constructed under the Mansarovar scheme by Rajasthan Housing Board (RHB). It will be named as ‘City Park’ and the Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has already given his assent for this amazing green project.

The Central Park is constructed on 42 acre land but the new ‘City Park’ will be bigger in area and will also have many facilities for the residents of Jaipur.

As per Pawan Arora, the Commissioner of RHB, “We have planned to develop this park based on public gardens in developed countries. We want citizens to have a personal experience when they visit the park.

This will not just be a park for morning exercises, but there would be recreational facilities and interactive features for the people. There will be a children’s park, a food court, juice centre and other facilities. Almost 90% of the park area will have green cover.”

He further added that the plantation for the park will begin this monsoon but the other construction will follow its own course.

The map is ready and the area is also finalised. The only thing which is making the authorities wait is the construction which will take about a year and a half, but the plantation has already begun.
