Stay with the Royal Family of Jaipur through Airbnb

You can now avail a truly royal treatment by staying in a 300-year-old City Palace of Jaipur. The Maharaja of Jaipur has rented out the Gudliya Suite of his house on the online marketplace offering lodging, homestays and tourism experiences, Airbnb.

The royal suite situated in the lap of luxury includes a private indoor swimming pool, a lounge kitchen and a bathroom. The suite will be available for stay from 23rd November at an inaugural offer of 8,000 USD per night. The actual tariff of the suite is 5,72,280 USD per night that will be in effect from January 2020. As of now, the difference will be borne by Airbnb.

With this move, Maharaja Padmanabh Singh will be the first royal to offer a stay at his palace on Airbnb platform. The move is said to support rural women empowerment initiatives by Princess Diya Kumari Foundation (PDKF). The foundation is a non-profit organisation working towards supporting the rural women and artisans in Rajasthan.

The guest who will book the suite will meet with a host of royal experiences. They will be chauffeured from Jaipur Airport to the City Palace. Moreover, they will have an opportunity to go on a shopping excursion in the Pink City with a member of the royal family.
