Hello readers, Harish Satwani this side. As we all know that Jaipur is the most well planned city of India, so it has many sacred and unexplored places, one of the most unexplored spot of Jaipur is “Jamwa ramgarh”.
Jamwa ramgarh is a lake in Ramgarh (near Jaipur), Rajasthan. The lake has flourishing scenario of mother nature and one can experience the depth of greenery and peace there. The lake received water during 1999, but in 2000 the lake was empty as no water is left.
So, since year 2000 Jamwa Ramgarh is facing problem of water scarcity, the lake was source of water for Jaipur city at that time but now it’s nothing more than a spot of enjoyments for tourists and Jaipurites. So, somewhere greed of humans and pollution both killed the beauty of Jamwa Ramgarh.
Jamwa ramgarh lake was built by Rao dulherai, and he also built the temple of “Godess Jamwai” because he believed that this land is his reward as he won the war from Meena community, so his view was that this happened with grace of Godess, so they started worshiping mata Jamwai.
So people, the aim of this article is not to blame greed of human or any other reason, the aim is to lets all “Relive Jamwa Ramgarh“. So lets take a oath to do it and save our mother nature and its beauty.

इस बांध की ‘ रामगढ़ झील ‘ के नाम से लोक ख्याति रही है। झील का यह शांत पानी इतिहास के गहरे स्रोतों की साक्षी ‘ बाणगंगा’ नदी का अंश है। बाणगंगा नदी को ढूंढाड़ में ” गंगा नदी ” की महिमा प्राप्त रही है। महाभारतकाल से मुगलकाल तक अनेकों बार बाणगंगा नदी का जिक्र पौराणिक व्याख्यानों व इतिहास के स्रोतों में आया है। गलता तीर्थ में जिन पयोहारी बाबा ॠर्षि की गुफा है उन्होंने इस नदी के किनारे ही धूनी रमाई थी। नदी किनारे कोई पुरातन सभ्यता दफन होने के यहां निरंतर प्रमाण मिल रहे हैं। बाणगंगा नदी कई ऐतिहासिक युद्धों की गवाह भी रही है। यह झील जब अपने यौवन पर थी तब यहां घने वन और बाघ- बघेरों का बाहुल्य था। चहुंओर प्रकृति की खूबसूरत छटा थी। इसलिए इसे संत और सूरमा की धरती कहा जाता है। इस झील को फिर से जीवंत बनाने का मार्ग बाणगंगा के गर्भ से है। यह नदी बचेगी तो यहां पर्यावरण और वन्यजीव भी बचेंगे। संस्कृति का संरक्षण भी होगा। इसी संकल्प के साथ ‘ रामगढ़ बांध ‘ का स्थापना दिवस समारोह अब सिर्फ एक पखवाड़ा दूर है।जमवारामगढ़ की नकची घाटी से गुजरता विदेशी पर्यटकों का दल। विश्व पर्यटन दिवस पर जमवा घाट से लौटते हुए हमें यह दल मिला। जयपुर-आमेर- भानगढ़ के हैरिटेज रूट पर विदेशी पर्यटक यहां से गुजरते रहते हैं। पिछले दिनों भी साईकिलों पर विदेशी पर्यटकों का एक बड़ा जत्था आमेर से जमवारामगढ़ होते हुए भानगढ़ की तरफ गया था। लेकिन जमवारामगढ़ एरिया में इस रूट पर कोई रोडमैप लगा हुआ नहीं है। ना ही इसका उल्लेख है कि पर्यटक जमवारामगढ़ वाइल्ड लाइफ सेंचुरी से गुजर रहे हैं। ना ही ऐसी कोई जानकारी कहीं प्रदर्शित है कि इस हैरिटेज रूट पर कौन-कौनसे दर्शनीय और इको- टूरिज्म पाइंट आ रहे हैं। ऐसे में, विदेशी पर्यटक इतिहास,अध्यात्म और पर्यावरण के एक प्राचीन केन्द्र से रू-ब-रू हुए बिना यूं ही गुजर जाते हैं।
