Nishant Abhangi, a student of Kota, added more to his academic achievements by securing 6th rank in JEE (Main) result, which was announced late on Monday. He missed the first position by a few decimal points.

Nishant has been preparing for JEE mains in Kota since last few years. He bagged the first position in at least six national-level competitive examinations. His biggest achievement till date is receiving the National Child Award by President Ram Nath Kovind in 2017.
He also bagged the first position in Indian National Junior Science Olympiad, International Mathematical Olympiad, National Level Science Talent Search Examination and National Science Olympiad, to name a few. Abhangi was a student of Allen Career Institute in Kota.
He is also among the top 24 students who scored 100 in the National Testing Agency scorecard. Three students from the state –
• Sambit Bahera (11th)
• Shubankar Gambhir (12th)
• Samiksha Das (20), also made it to the top 24 list.
Shubham Srivastava of Delhi secured the first position in the whole country. The capital of the state also left footprints in the national-level exam. Three students from the pink city –
• Aditya Sharma (47)
• Gaurav Kishan (64)
• Akshat Sharma (84), were among the top 100 ranks.
The total number of students who appeared for the exam was 11.47 lakh. Till the last report was out, the coaching majors were piling up the result.
