Rajasthan day, Rajasthan’s annual celebration of its formation, is being held today to commemorate the 67th year of Rajasthan’s foundation. As part of the celebrations, Rajasthan Government’s tourism, art and culture department organised the four-day Rajasthan Festival, from March 27-30, 2016 in Jaipur, aimed at highlighting the state’s art, culture, tradition and heritage to attract tourism into the state.
On the last day and closing ceremony of Rajasthan day celebration 2016, Few thrilling performances by local artists took place at Amar jawan jyoti near Vidhan Sabha Jaipur (Janpath) on 30 march 2016.
These performances include camel parade by BSF, police march, band performances by students of BPS pilani, St. xavier’s school and Rajasthan police; Tableaus from seven divisions, Dare devil motor cycle show by BSF, Illumination of Vidhan sabha, Vande matram performance by abilities unlimited; Multimedia show Hanging ring at Amar jawan jyoti; Spectacular fireworks etc.
The multimedia show was the part of the closing ceremony of four day festival of Rajasthan Day Celebrations organised by the Rajasthan Tourism Department which showcased the colorful culture of Rajasthan.
Artists from all over the state of Rajasthan participated in the musical and dance performances.
“Made in Rajasthan” similar to “Make in India” was promoted with the show.
