Sisodia Rani Ka Bagh the epitome of ‘ LOVE ‘

The garden was built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh of the Sisodiya Dynasty. He built it as a gift for his beloved wife who was from Udaipur . The Maharaja used to adore her and hence he gifted her this mesmerising garden known as the Sisodia Rani Ka Bagh. It was built in the year 1728 and is the perfect place for the queen to escape from the incessant politicking and court maneuverings. The garden is full of lush green grass and distinguished plants including many flowering and fragrant scrubs which claims the fact that it made a perfect sanctum for the lady of the royal household . Regardless of the reason for its construction, one cannot ignore or deny the beauty and charm of this mesmerising garden. It is said that in the olden days, the garden served as an ideal getaway for the Queen. Sisodia Rani Ka Bagh is multi-tiered and makes an interesting tourist spot. Also the garden breathes life to the desert soil of Jaipur.

Sisodia Rani Ka Bagh, situated at a distance of 10 km from Jaipur, on Jaipur- Agra Highway. The structure of this garden portrays a perfect picture of the the mughal style of architecture.
