TEDx In Jaipur is here, Are You Going?

Every year leading thinkers, doers, and idea generators take part in TEDx Jaipur event. This year too, the TEDx Jaipur is coming up with innovators and out-of-the-box thinkers to talk about a very special and unique theme, BEYOND.

The theme BEYOND would carry thoughts and ideas that go beyond the ordinary, a place for people to discover real truth & understanding and believe that ideas are for everyone. The aim of the TEDx talks every year is to carry people to walk into unseen spheres of inventions, challenged phenomenon, incredible ideas, and influential arguments and to cultivate the spirit of interconnectedness and belonging to a community.

What is TED?

TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design) is a media organization which conducts talks and posts them online for free distribution, under the slogan “ideas worth spreading”. According to their official website, TED is a non-profit devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks (18 minutes or less). TED began in 1984 as a conference where Technology, Entertainment, and Design converged, and today covers almost all topics — from science to business to global issues — in more than 100 languages. Meanwhile, independently run TEDx events help share ideas in communities around the world.

What Is TEDx?

The TEDx program was started in 2009 and has successfully held 15000 events worldwide. TEDx was formed keeping in mind TED’s mission, “ideas worth spreading.” It supports independent organizers who want to create a TED-like event in their own community. It recently reached to a ‘1 Billion Views’ of TEDx Talks.

Previous edition of TEDx Jaipur

The previous edition of TEDx Jaipur was as marvelous as it has been over the course of years of its happening. Big names like Manisha Koirala gave some of the finest ideas and mind changing talks. They brought ideas and stories to life in the last edition of TEDx talk. Living up to the legacy, this year too there will be presenters of innovative ideas, doers, and thinkers.
